(More customer reviews)We have been using the OvaCue with both oral and vaginal monitors and tracking software for maybe 8-9 years. We are Catholic and do natural family planning but wanted a back-up since I am getting older and anticipating menopause. We can not say enough about the benefit of this product. It is a simple tool to help determine fertility as that is what it is designed for, so if it can help you determine when you are fertile it is very helpful for avoiding pregnancy as well...

The key is to follow the directions, especially the morning saliva reading. That reading helps determine that your body is preparing to ovulate. The vaginal sensor then confirms ovulation. I don't see why anyone would not purchase both parts to the monitor, they are both necessary. There is also tracking software available that lets you upload from the handheld to the PC. A wonderful $25 option we would not do without. It is a fairly sensitive little piece of equipment. It has to be!

As far as accuracy and use:
It is nearly impossible for an electronic device to be accurate if it doesn't have data to crunch! This is actual science that doctors are very familiar with. Thus the first cycle could be inaccurate because the program is looking for a pattern of high and low to determine fertility. A few months of data and the device is VERY accurate. Using NFP I am very aware of my cycle to begin with so the OvaCue is just my double-check, but I can still say that even with occassionally irregular cycles it is still very accurate. (More customer reviews)First of all, this is the best lubricant I have ever tried. The applicator tube works great and it really just seems like a natural wetness, which KY never feels like. But the best part about Pre-Seed is that I got pregnant the very first month I used this product! I used it in conjunction with Instead Softcups, which are going through the process of being marketed legally as fertility aids. I left a softcup in for almost a full day, had intercourse four times during my fertile week and ta-da, I conceived my first child. GREAT PRODUCT! Many other websites are full of excellent reviews of this product. I was shocked to see it has two poor ratings on Amazon which is why I decided to give my two cents! Give it a try. We loved it!

(More customer reviews)I bought this product because it seems to have way more test strips than the average ovulation kit, and for about the same price.I figured I could use 5-7 strips each month and stretch it out, as my cycles are relatively normal.I got the product and the instructions say that once you open the tube that the test strips are in, they're only good for one month.So much for my great idea.So far they're working okay, but don't buy this product if you're hoping to stretch the strips out over a several month period.

The Simple Science of the Fertility Scope™ Ovulation Predictor

(More customer reviews)Unlike the previous reveiwer who never used this, I had a chance to.The scope is very spotty, so when you put the saliva slide through, you just see the original spots from the microscope, it does not even matter how much or how little saliva you put onto the tray, or even if you move the tray around.There is no way to clean the microscpe as I tried to.Infact you can see the saliva tray better than putting the tray into the scope.And by the way the comapny might as well be non existant as there is no customer service, no phone # to call, and they do not answer emails.They simply just do not care!
